Eid-Al-Adha Celebrations

India is a country of festivals. Each and every festival is celebrated with the same zeal and enthusiasm. The students of the Nursery & Prep Classes celebrated Eid-Al-Adha, the festival of rejoicing and sacrifice on 7th July 2022. The little ones were dressed in beautiful ethnic attire. They hugged each other and wished Eid Mubarak. To celebrate the festival the children participated in craft activity in which they decorated the picture of a mosque. They were also made aware of the importance of the festival. All seemed happy and enjoyed it a lot.

Eid was celebrated by the students of Class 2 with pomp and show. The children were involved in making a “Dua (Prayer) Book” activity based on the theme of Eid. They wrote prayers and affirmations in it. Our little ones also greeted each other ‘Eid Mubarak’ with love and affection.

The pious festival of Eid was celebrated to enlighten the students of Class 3 about the spirit of festival, symbolizing the unity of our community. In our multicultural society we need to instill and enforce the universal values of brotherhood, tolerance, peace, compassion and solidarity in our children. To celebrate the festival, students made a Kiddies Goodie Bag using gift wrapping paper and ribbons.

Celebrating multifarious cultures and festivals symbolizes the unity of the international community, which our School takes pride in. This is a special time of year for Muslims to celebrate the completion of Haj and Eid-Al-Adha. The students of Class 5 celebrated this festival with pomp. They made beautiful wall hangings by using different decorative materials. They shared sweets with their peers and teachers. The celebration of Eid promotes national integration and the feeling of brotherhood. It gave a message to the students to love all and hate none.

Celebrating Kargil “Vijay” Diwas

Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated in memory of the indomitable courage of the Indian soldiers and to remember the victory of the Kargil war. The Kargil war narrates the story of India’s bravery and how soldiers didn’t step back from their duty and how they protected our country in difficult times. To celebrate Kargil Vijay Diwas the students of the Nursery and Prep Classes presented a March Past. A few children recited patriotic lines. All the children looked impressive in their camouflage attire.

Kargil Vijay Diwas is a memorial of the indomitable courage of the Indian soldiers. It recollects the Kargil War between India and Pakistan in 1999.The students of Class 1 commemorated the Kargil Diwas on 26th July, 2022 to honour the Kargil heroes,who sacrificed their lives for their motherland. A short movie based on the events of the Kargil war was shown to the students in the class, for better understanding of this day. The commemoration came to an end with patriotic poems recited by kids as Kargil Vijay Diwas is associated with the glorious past of India. It made India globally express the power of its security. This is a day for Indians to feel proud of their soldiers.

Jai Hind!

The students of Class 3 celebrated Kargil Diwas with patriotic fervour. The teachers informed the students of how India’s brave soldiers defeated the enemy on the slopes of high mountains. The children expressed their solidarity and respect for our armed forces by making Jai Hind Tri-coloured badges.

To remember and honour the Heroes who sacrificed their lives to protect the honour of our country, the students of Class 5 expressed their gratitude and respect by singing patriotic songs and also spoke about their sacrifice. A feeling of patriotism and respect for the soldiers was seen in the students. The students drew beautiful posters depicting the Kargil War and the bravado of our soldiers.

International Tiger Day

International Tiger day is celebrated every year on July 29th as a way to raise awareness about this magnificent but endangered big cat. An activity was organised for the Nursery and Prep Classes in which the little ones imprinted their thumb impressions on a large outline of a Tiger. The children were also informed of how Tigers are being hunted illegally around the globe.

Global Tiger Day also known as International Tiger Day is celebrated every year on July 29th as a way to raise awareness about this magnificent but endangered big cat. The International Tiger Day was celebrated by the children who participated in an activity to increase awareness on conservation of the Tiger. The children were informed about the significance between wildlife and people through a discussion. The kids wore  Tiger masks and spoke about the Tiger.
