Celebrating Rakshabandhan

Raksha Bandhan is a festival that is celebrated to show love and unity in which brothers promise to safeguard their sisters from evils on this auspicious day. To celebrate this occasion, The students of the Nursery and Prep classes came to School dressed in their festive bests. The girls tied Rakhis on boys’ wrists and exchanged sweets. They also made beautiful rakhis by tearing and pasting and decorated them beautifully.

To commemorate this festival, the Class 1 students wore colourful traditional Indian dresses. A Rakhi making activity was organized for them and the children were also informed about the sacred bond between brother and sister and why the festival is celebrated. The students were familiarized with the customs and rituals followed on Raksha Bandhan. Students made beautiful Rakhis using different articles like silken thread, ribbon, waste material, etc.

Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. To strengthen this bond the students of Class 2 participated in a Rakhi tying ceremony. They made beautiful Rakhi(s) using sharpener peels and to make this day memorable a Poem Recitation activity was also conducted. The event was celebrated with full enthusiasm and zeal. Aspire believes that such celebrations of festivals with true spirit teach students about our Indian traditions.

The students of Class 3 celebrated Raksha Bandhan by coming to School dressed in festive attire. They also made Rakhi greeting cards for their siblings. The teacher also told them stories related to this beautiful festival of India. It was a joyous celebration throughout.

To celebrate the bond of love and care, the children of Class 4 presented a special assembly on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The beautifully adorned young ones showcased a wonderful play, music and dance, with a scintillating backdrop. The play celebrated the bond between brothers and sisters. Wearing vibrant and colourful attire, the children sang and danced gracefully, honouring the day of love and protection. The students also designed beautiful Rakhi Cards which they displayed proudly.

To reinforce this bond, the Class 5 students celebrated this festival with enthusiasm and grandeur. The students learned about the traditions and rituals observed during Raksha Bandhan. They made lovely Rakhis using wool and various decorative materials. They completed the assigned task beautifully. Their craftsmanship was quite captivating, and the children thoroughly enjoyed this activity that sparked their creativity.

Independence Day Celebrations

The students of the Nursery and Prep classes celebrated our Nation’s 77th Independence Day by decorating the map of India with orange, white, and green flowers. The classes and the School were decorated in the traditional tri-coloured theme.

Celebrating our Independence Day fills us with immense pride. It is a time to celebrate our freedom and remember the heroes who made our country proud. To mark this occasion, students of Class I dressed in traditional ensembles and made candles by using different grains in the tri-coloured theme. They enjoyed the celebration, participated enthusiastically in the activities, and their hearts were filled with great patriotism.

The students of Class 2 celebrated Independence Day gorgeously and glamorously. The whole Campus was decorated with balloons and flags. The children came dressed as freedom fighters and soldiers. Patriotic Poems were recited and Songs were sung by the students. The children also spoke on the glory of our Independence. The celebrations ended with pomp and full of zeal.

To celebrate Independence Day, the Class 3 students gave a special dance and singing performance in the Morning Assembly. They were told stories related to India’s Independence. The students made a wall hanging using tri-coloured sheets.

The 77th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The school campus was beautifully decorated with flags and balloons to commemorate the day. In the presence of smiling children, the National Flag was hoisted. The students of Class 4 made tri-coloured rosettes with great enthusiasm. It was a day to love and enjoy and show respect for our Nation.

Our Nation’s 77th Independence Day celebrations began with the Flag hoisting, singing the National anthem and followed by patriotic songs.  The students of Class 5 came dressed in traditional attire with tri-coloured bands and dupattas. The children expressed their patriotism by making beautiful posters.
