Celebrating Basant Panchami

Basant Panchami, celebrated in late winter or early spring, marks the onset of the vibrant season. Dedicated to the Goddess Saraswati, the day is synonymous with the color yellow, symbolizing the bloom of mustard flowers. The students of Class 1 celebrated this day with zeal and pomp.  They came dressed in yellow attires, and made beautiful pictures of the Sitar. Later they seeked the blessings for knowledge and creativity from Maa Saraswati and enjoyed Prasad distributed by their class teacher.

On the occasion of Basant Panchami, the students of Class 2 drew and coloured the Veena and the Swan. The children dressed in shades of yellow attire offered prayers to Maa Saraswati. The students enjoyed the day, enlightened by the blessings of Maa Saraswati.

The children of Class 3, celebrated Basant Panchami by venerating Goddess Saraswati. In a craft activity they made flowers using yellow coloured origami sheets. They enjoyed the festival with enthusiasm.

The students of Class 4 wearing yellow coloured attire representing the mustard flower, which bloom during this season, celebrated Basant Panchami with enthusiasm. The students drew and coloured posters depicting Goddess Saraswati.

The students of Class 5 celebrated “Basant Panchami” to welcome the spring season and honor “Goddess Saraswati,” the goddess of knowledge and wisdom. Dressed in yellow attire, they created beautiful pictures of kites and veenas, recited slogans, and enjoyed the day with enthusiasm.

Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony 2022 – 2023

The Cambridge World School Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony for the Session 2022 – 2023, was held with immense joy and enthusiasm on Saturday 10th February. The events commenced with the lighting of the traditional lamp by Dr. Anita Puri and the teachers. The mesmerizing Ganesh Vandana invoked the blessings of the Almighty. This was followed by a self composed song by the School Choir enhanced beautifully with an expressive dance performance. Dr. Anita Puri presented the School report highlighting the achievements of the School in the last Session. The much awaited Prize Distribution Ceremony saw applauses as the young achievers received their prizes. The highlight of the day was the Ballet – Kaamchor Babloo. The act stressed on doing your own work and helping others as well. The Grand Finale held everyone captivated to the moves and grooves of the little ones. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
