Republic Day Celebrations

To celebrate our Nation’s 75th Republic Day, the students of the Nursery and Prep Classes presented soulful songs and dances celebrate the monumental day. The students were also sensitised about the National Bravery Awards which are given to kids from all over India for their meritorious acts of bravery. The pupils came in the attire of soldiers and freedom fighters and coloured the outline of the tri-coloured flag. The event concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.

The students of Class 1 celebrated this glorious day with great joy and pride wearing beautiful tri-coloured traditional attire. They were explained the significance of armed forces and troops by the teachers. They were also told about the world’s longest constitution which is the Indian Constitution and the rich heritage of our country. Enlightening the young minds with the basic facts about their country, the children participated in various activities  like reciting patriotic poems and singing patriotic songs.

The children of Class 2 came dressed as soldiers, freedom fighters and national leaders. They made a poster on Republic day and understood the importance of our National Flag. The event brought with it the feeling of patriotism, brotherhood and unity. With great enthusiasm students sang patriotic songs. The celebrations ended with the singing of the National Anthem.

The students of Class 3 saluted our National flag and took a pledge. They were informed about our Nation’s freedom fighters and how they have fought for our independence. Students took interest in learning about the sacrifice of our freedom fighters. The children made a beautiful butterfly using tri-coloured paper and some students spoke about their favourite freedom fighter.

The 75th  Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur by the students of Class 4. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the Tricolour  followed by a March Past. The young patriots took pride in glorying and celebrating the spirit of unity. Students made   soldiers using Tri-coloured sticks using Tricolour. The soul-stirring songs filled each one present with patriotic fervour. The children were  motivated to follow the Constitution in letter and spirit and be the harbinger of a social change to build a new, better and stronger India. The echoes of ‘Jai Hind’ filled everyone’s heart with patriotism and pride. The momentous ceremony ended with the National Anthem.

On 25th January 2024, the students of Class 5 celebrated Republic Day with solemnity and grandeur. They saluted the National Flag, pledged to uphold the honour, integrity, diversity, and uniqueness of India. The significance of the day, marking the enforcement of the Indian Constitution on 26th January 1950, was explained to them. Students showcased their patriotism through craftwork, creating beautiful peacocks using tri-coloured sheets, and sang patriotic songs with enthusiasm.

Celebrating Lohri & Makar Sankranti

To celebrate Lohri & Makar Sankranti the Nursery Prep class students came to School in colourful ethnic dresses. To enhance the spirit of the festivity, they made kites with colorful paper. Folk songs were played to mark the mood and the students danced to the energetic rhythm. The school turned on a bonfire, and children offered peanuts and popcorn to the fire. The children made beautiful posters depicting kites and the Lohri bonfire.

To celebrate the harvest festivals, Makar Sankranti and Lohri the students of Class 1 participated in engaging craft activities of making posters depicting the Lohri bonfire and kites. They danced on Lohri songs, and offered peanuts and popcorn to the Lohri bonfire. It was an enjoyable day for the kids.

The students of Class 2 celebrated Makar Sankranti and Lohri with lots of enthusiasm. They made the Lohri bornfire with colours and sketch pen and also made kites for Makar Sakranti. They enjoyed dancing around the bonfire. Students were served delicious festival delicacies. The teachers explained the importance of these festivals to the students. At last students had a lot of fun in celebrating these harvest festivals.

To celebrate the popular festivals of Makar Sankranti and Lohri, the students of Class 3, drew beautiful posters depicting the Lohri bonfire and kites associated with Makar Sankrati. The teachers informed the students of the importance of these festivals and the reason for celebrating them.
