To pay tribute to our soldiers on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, the students of the Nursery and Prep classes came to School dressed in army camouflage. The kids shouted patriotic slogans and spoke about our brave soldiers.
To celebrate Kargil Vijay Diwas, students of Class 1 participated joyfully in a thumb printing activity and made beautiful paintings of the National Flag. They enjoyed this day with great enthusiasm and zeal.
To commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas, the students of Class 2 made appreciation cards to pay heartfelt homage to the martyrs of Indian Armed Forces who sacrificed their lives and won the war at Kargil on 26 July 1999. It was done with the view to salute the real heroes of the nation and inspire the students for a patriotic cause.
To celebrate Kargil Vijay Diwas, the students of Class 3 made stick soldier puppets with clay.
To incluclate the true spirit of patriotism and to celebrate ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ in remembrance of India’s victory and to pay tribute to Kargil Martyrs who are the symbol of courage and sacrifice for safeguarding the borders of the country, the students of Class 4 made statues of soldiers using dry clay. They were also a shown a documentary on the Kargil War. The young minds were very enthusiastic to participate in the celebrations.
To mark the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, the students of Class 5 created statues of soldiers, posters, and sang beautiful patriotic songs and poems with a sense of patriotism and enthusiasm. These martyrs will always be remembered by a grateful nation, and their tales of bravery will continue to inspire generations of young Indians.
