Diwali the festival of lights and happiness, was celebrated at CWS with great joy and enthusiasm. All the kids came dressed in beautiful ethnic attire for the celebrations. The kids participated in a Diya decoration activity. Children also made beautiful Rangolis. The teachers explained the significance of the festival and why it is celebrated. To culminate the festivities, the children enjoyed a Diwali party. The teachers and the students both had a great time.

Dussehra is a day of celebrating victory of Good over the evil. This day was celebrated with our at CWS on 10th Oct 2024. Our little ones were so excited as they were dressed up in different characters like Lord Rama, Laxman, Ravana and Goddess Sita. An episode of Ramayan was portrayed and Ravana Dahan was performed in the school. Everyone enjoyed and learned that we should not do anything bad in our life. The students artistically decorated Ravana effigies, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. The highlight of the celebration was the burning of Ravana effigies, marking the victory of Lord Rama and reaffirming the importance of goodness and righteousness.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated on 1st October 2024 at CWS with enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The students were informed about the importance of the day. They were told about Gandhi Ji’s important role in our Nation’s freedom struggle. Some students came dressed as Gandhi Ji and Baa and also as other leaders and freedom fighters. To celebrate the day the Nursery and Prep students made posters depicitng Gandhi Ji’s Charkha. Class 1 and 2 students recited patriotic poems and made hand puppets of the monkeys.
