Celebrating Teacher’s Day
Teacher’s Day was celebrated with the Nursery and Prep Classes on 6th August 2022 to honour the teachers for their contribution in imparting knowledge to the students. A day when all students appreciate their teachers and show their love towards them by many different gestures. All students came to School dressed as their favourite teacher and also enacted like them.


The students of Class 1 celebrated Teacher’s Day to appreciate and thank their teachers. The children were explained the importance of Teacher’s Day and that it is celebrated to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan our Nation’s 2nd President and renowned Scholar. The students dressed as their favourite teacher and also spoke about them. They tapped their feet on the song ‘We love you teachers’. At the end the children made Thank you Cards for their teachers.

Teacher’s Day is celebrated in India every year on 5th September to appreciate the role played by teachers in the life of students–“The leaders of tomorrow”. The day is also celebrated to pay tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President of the country and a visionary educator. The students of Class 2 made beautiful cards for their teachers, they also role-played their favourite teacher and spoke about the importance of teachers in their lives. Students also enjoyed playing musical chairs.

To commemorate the Birth Anniversary of the second President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a philosopher and a great teacher, 5th September every year is celebrated as Teacher’s Day. His contribution towards Indian education is undeniable. The Teacher’s Day was organised with incredible gusto and zeal. Teachers play a major role in making their students responsible citizens of tomorrow and good human beings. To express their gratitude, students of Class 4 made Teachers Day Cards using hand printing and decorated them with stars and flowers for their teachers. The teachers appreciated the enthusiasm of the students for making the day a glorious event to cherish.

To commemorate the birth of the second President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a renowned educationist, the students of Class 5 celebrated as Teacher’s Day. A warm welcome at the school gate with flowers, cards, and a tastefully decorated ‘Entrance’ was a pleasant surprise for all the teachers as they play a major role in making their student’s responsible citizens of tomorrow and good human beings. The children spoke on the importance of Gurus in our life and gave Cards to their teachers.
