Celebrating Teacher’s Day
“A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite imagination and in still love for learning”.
The students of Class 1 celebrated this Special Day with great zeal and zest. Students were explained that good teachers not only teaches the syllabus, but also inspire their students to dream and work towards achieving it, be it a young or grown up child. A craft activity to make Teacher’s Day Cards was conducted for the students. The children proudly shared and displayed their Cards in the online class. A few students also dressed as their teacher and enacted the online class sessions.
September 5th is the birth anniversary of our former President Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a staunch believer of education and a well-known Diplomat, Scholar, above all, a Teacher. Across India, students honour and pay tribute to their teachers by sending Teachers’Day greetings, quotes, messages, etc. and show their respect for their Teachers. The students of Class 2 celebrated this special day with great zeal and zest. The children made cards for their teachers and also wrote why they adore their teachers.
