Celebrating Maha Shivratri
Maha Shivaratri is one of the most important festivals of Hindus. It is considered auspicious as it is celebrated annually in honour of Lord Shiva. The festival was celebrated with full zeal by the students of Class 2. The children were informed of the importance of this day through an informative video. To add colours to this day, some students were dressed in Mythological costumes. The children made a Trishul with the help of straws and other decorative items.

The festival of Maha Shivratri is a popular Hindu festival. It celebrates the marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The students of Class 3 celebrated the festival with much enthusiasm. The teachers shared a Video which informed the students why the Hindu celebrate the festival and regard it with reverence. To make the celebrations memorable, the students made a Damru using different decorative items.

Road Named After Late Mrs. Sheila Verma (Aunty)
It was a moment of pride and elation for the entire CWS Family in the morning of 8th March 2022. In recognition of the selfless service and contributions in the field of education, CWS’ Founder Late Smt. Sheila Verma (Aunty) was felicitated by having a Road named in her honour in V Block, Rajouri Garden.
The Road Naming Ceremony was attended by a large gathering of well wishers including SDMC Councillor Col. (Retd.) B. K Oberoi, Former Mayor SDMC & Councillor Sh. Subhash Arya, Mr. Y. P. Purang, Chairman (CFS), Mr. K. L. Sobti, Dr. Anita Puri, Principal-cum-Manager (CFS), Teachers, students and residents from the area.













Holi Celebrations
The popular festival of Holi which signifies the end of winter and the onset of spring and brings with it a feeling of friendship and togetherness was celebrated on a virtual platform by the students of Class 2. The students were shown a Video depicting different ways in which Holi is celebrated. The children where the students were shown the video of different ways to celebrate holi. To make this day memorable all the students wrote a few lines on celebrating Holi.

Holi marks the end of winter and is celebrated to welcome the spring season. The festival was celebrated on a virtual platform by the students of Class 3 with gaiety and fun. The students were informed about the importance of the day through an informative video. To add colours to this day Students made beautiful drawings – depicting how they can celebrate Holi apart from using colours.
