Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated on 2nd October every year to mark the Birth Anniversary of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi who is also known as Mahatma Gandhi or the Father of the Nation. The students of Class 1 commemorated Gandhi Ji’s 152nd Birth Anniversary virtually with patriotic fervour and sincerity. To celebrate the day, an animated presentation was shown to the children to make them understand how Gandhi Ji led India to the path of freedom. The students were also informed about the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi’s three monkeys. Some students attended the session were dressed as different freedom fighters and spoke about them and also recited poems with enthusiasm.

His method of non-violence inspired many civil rights movements across the world. With great patriotism, all the students celebrated this day with great enthusiasm. The students of Class 2 did a role play of Gandhiji and spoke about one event related to him.
